Robert A. Kraus ("RAK") is an American artist and writer and the founder of the studio RAK Graphics. RAK is the creator of Chakan: The Forever Man, a character that appeared in his studio's first published comic Thundermace No. 1 (1986). In July 1990, Chakan (technically pronounced "Shay-khan") received its own comic, Chakan: The Forever Man No. 1. The Chakan character later got a 1992 video game published by Sega for the Genesis and Game Gear; however, the video games instead featured box artwork from Greg Winters rather than RAK himself.
